Which Birthday Party Package Is Right for Your Kid?

There's a big difference between a birthday party that works and one that parents will actually remember without wincing. Fun Park Canada's party packages are designed to take the stress off you completely — but picking the right one matters. Here's a straight-up breakdown of what each package includes, what it costs, and who it's right for.

Silver: the clean, simple option

Silver is for families who want the party experience without the extended commitment. At South Edmonton on weekdays, it's $210 for 10 guests — one hour of jump time, 45 minutes of table time, water bottles for the group, and one parent who jumps free. On weekends, it's $250. Extra guests are $20 weekday or $25 weekend (up to 16 total). It's the right call if your group skews younger and shorter attention spans are a factor. One hour of trampolines, cake, and out the door — efficient and fun.

Gold: the one most people book

Gold is marked 'most popular' for a reason. Two hours of jump time gives everyone enough runway to actually exhaust themselves. At South Edmonton, rock climbing is included in the Gold package — something kids consistently love more than parents expect. Weekday pricing is $310 for 10 guests ($30/extra); weekend is $350 ($35/extra). For most birthdays between ages 6 and 12, Gold is the sweet spot. Long enough to feel like an event, short enough that kids go home genuinely tired.

Platinum: the VIP party

Platinum is the full experience: three hours of jump time, nearly two hours of table time, rock climbing and laser tag both included. At South Edmonton, that's $410 on weekdays or $450 on weekends for 10 guests ($40 weekday or $45 weekend per extra guest). If your kid's birthday is a genuine event — a crew of 12+ kids, multi-attraction experience, the kind of party that gets talked about the next week at school — Platinum is worth every dollar. The laser tag alone tends to become the highlight of the night.

Neon: the evening party

Neon packages run weekend evenings only. At South Edmonton, Friday and Saturday nights are 7 PM–10 PM for $325 (10 guests, $35/extra). Sunday evenings run 6 PM–9 PM. Three hours of jump time with two hours of table time running concurrently — everything overlaps so you're not waiting around. Neon is ideal if your weekends are already packed, or if an evening party just fits the group better. The park has a different energy after 7 PM, and kids genuinely love it.

Don't forget: the birthday kid gets perks

At South Edmonton, the birthday child gets a free 1-hour jump pass for their next visit and a free slushy on party day. At Grande Prairie, the birthday child gets free entry on their actual birthday — bring proof of birthday and the front desk takes care of it. A few things to plan for: grip socks aren't included in any package ($2.90 per guest at the Edmonton parks, $3.50 in Winnipeg, $3.75 at Grande Prairie). Outside food is welcome at South Edmonton. Max 16 guests per party. Book online and get it locked in — weekend spots go fast.
